About Providedgoodbye Plumbing

Who We Are

Providedgoodbye Plumbing is a referral service for homeowners in the Salt Lake City area. We connect people who have a plumbing problem with independent local providers. The providers are separate businesses, and they do the work. We do not do the plumbing.

Why This Exists

A burst pipe or a sewer backup is stressful. Searching for help while water spreads leads to rushed choices. Rushed choices lead to patch jobs. Patch jobs lead to the next leak, and a later owner inherits it.

The goal is simple. Fix it right, so the house stays sound and keeps its value.

How Plumbers Are Matched

You describe what is happening: a burst pipe, a backed-up drain, a sewage smell. Based on the type of job and your location in Salt Lake City or nearby, you are pointed to a provider in our network that handles that work.

Availability varies. Many providers can respond quickly, but call hours differ by provider. Request a callback to check provider availability.

Before You Reach Out

A few details help a provider understand the job fast. Note where the water or backup is. Say when it started. Mention the age of the home if you know it. If you can do it safely, shut off the main water valve. Take a few photos for your records.

What We Expect From Providers

Providers are independent businesses. We ask them to follow a few plain rules:

  • Hold the licenses and insurance that local rules require.
  • Explain the problem in simple terms before work starts.
  • Give a written quote and explain any change.
  • Treat the home with care, including floors, walls and finished basements.
  • Be honest when a repair is not needed.

Older Homes Get Extra Care

Houses with aging pipes, past repairs and unknown history need a patient approach. We ask providers to look before they cut, and to tell you what they find. Protect the house, not just the moment.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not repair, install or inspect anything.
  • We do not set prices. The provider quotes the job.
  • We do not control a provider's schedule.
  • We do not decide insurance claims. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

How We Are Paid

Providers in the network may pay a referral fee when they are connected with a homeowner. You pay the provider directly for the work, at the price you agree on. Asking for a connection carries no obligation.
